Focus on helping people solve problem rather than helping solve people's problem:
- Never allow others to think you always have the best answer.
- Ask question. Help people to think.
- Become a coach, not a king. A coach bring out the best in others.
- List their solutions on paper, integrate your ideas with theirs till they have ownership.
- Let them decide the best solution to their problem.
- Develop a game plan let them take ownership by setting up time frame and accountable process.
